How safe is buying from chic decor?

Do prices include VAT?

Yes – all prices shown include VAT.

What happens after I place my order?

After placing your order online, we will send you an instant email notification with your order details, including you order number. Once your order is ready for delivery, our logistics team will get in touch with you with a date and time slot.

Can you deliver goods to a specific room in my house?

YES! We can deliver to a specific room within your home. Our delivery team will unpack everything for you and take the item(s) to your allocated room. However, if an item exceeds 90 kg, we may not move such items beyond ground level due to health and safety considerations.

Kindly describe the room where you want us to transfer your items. Also, ensure that doorways and staircase is wide enough to accommodate each item.

What if I live in an apartment complex, will you deliver the items to my room?

Yes, we deliver to apartments however please contact us before making a purchase to discuss further information on the type of access levels you have.

What if my goods arrive damaged?

All items need to be checked at the time of delivery and relevant notes made on delivery documents. Our team will unpack all the items to verify that products are intact, and if any item is damaged, you can send the item back with the drivers, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund.

Do you offer assembly?

Yes, we do. Please send us an email if you want an assembly service with your order. We charge an extra fee for assembly service. You can find out more by sending us an email.

What if I am not pleased with my purchase?

If you are not satisfied with your product(s), please return it to us for a full refund. This will be effective as long as you notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. Return delivery is at your own cost. You must not use the items before returning them. It must also be free from faults and returned in its original packaging with all parts and instructions. We also do not accept returns on bespoke upholstered items unless the items have suffered transport damage and noted on delivery.

How will I be refunded?

We process refunds through the same mechanism of payment. It takes 3-5 working days to clear.

Where are you based?

We are based in the United Kingdom.

How long will it take for my order to get delivered?

Delivery time varies from product to product. Please refer to the delivery time indicated on every product. You can always call us before placing your order, and we will provide you with further information on the estimated time scale.

Will I get charged for returning an item?

We will only charge you if the item(s) are in good condition. If the items have arrived in poor condition, we will take full responsibility for the inconveniencies caused. However, items need to be checked at the time of delivery in order for our team to note any faulty items.

What if I cannot be home on delivery day?

If you are unavailable on the confirmed delivery day, please give us 24-hour prior notice to process your schedule change.

Do you deliver overseas?

No. We do not, at least for now. We only deliver to the UK. However, we are planning to expand to Europe in the near future. Although in extreme circumstances, such as if an order exceeds £5,000, we can arrange shipments to Europe.

What if I live in Ireland, or on an Offshore Island?

Yes! We can. However, you would need to contact us for a quote before purchasing your item. We are keen on knowing which products you are interested in.

Are deliveries free?

Delivery is free on all orders within the UK; however, if you live in Ireland or Scotland, you will have to pay a surcharge. Our free delivery service does not include assembly or packaging removal. We advise you to contact us before making an order.

Do you deliver on the weekends?

We carry out most of our deliveries on working days, and we do cover a few areas on weekends, you can always call us for more information.

Do you collect old furniture and mattresses?

Yes! We collect old furniture and mattresses. However, we will check the physical condition of the furniture or mattress and offer you remuneration based on the quality of what we receive from you.
